Miscellaneous:
If you drive south you will find many of the same amenities in Palma Norte or Palma Sur (only about 15-20 minutes away). Prices may be better because the town caters more to locals than Uvita. Palma Sur is situated on Sierpe River where you can get to Corcovado National Park or Cano Island. They are both nice towns to explore.
